Star Wars: The Original Trilogy

These films are classics, no matter how you look at them.  And if you think about it, it seems that almost every summer blockbuster or action/adventure movie nowadays tries to capture that same magic that these films did in the late 70s/early 80s, but more often than not, those other films tend to fall short. These films were of their time and ahead of their time all at once.  And whether he tried to or not, even George Lucas himself couldn't recapture that same spark that made the original trilogy so unique when he directed the prequel trilogy.  This was done as a companion piece to the prequel trilogy collage.    Created with water colors and colored pencils on illustration board.
