The DVD Shelf Movie Reviews: Fright Night
Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 7:22PM Remember when vampires were actually intimidating and nightmare-inducing? I know, it does feel like ages, but I’m here with a new episode of the The DVD Shelf Movie Reviews to take you back to a place where vampires exploded in daylight, not sparkled! In this episode, we’ll be taking a look at the 1985 film Fright Night, a classic horror flick from an era when vampires were actually scary. I’ll give a little background about the film and its hard-to-find sequel, Fright Night Part II. Then we’ll take a look at the 2011 remake starring Colin Farrell and see how it compares to the original. Finally, I’ll give the original Fright Night DVD my final recommendation. The DVD Shelf Movie Reviews is hosted by David Rose. All this and more at your online destination where movies are celebrated, not incinerated!
